One order, one slice

Agent brief

A coding agent is not a co-founder. It is a fast crew with no script supervisor. The agent brief is the order you would pin to the wall: who, rite, stack, this scene only, what is forbidden, how we know it is done.

Anatomy

“Continue the app we discussed. Add whatever production needs.” That sentence is how you get a third design system and an AI concierge.

  • Bible pasted verbatim.
  • This turn’s slice, named.
  • Surface: empty, error, success.
  • Negative: features, visual tells, libraries.
  • DoD: the rite in two minutes; revert conditions.

Do not let volume impress you

A forty-file diff is not quality. Ask the agent not to invent files. Name paths that exist. If the slice is not named, refuse to write code — you say that in the order, or the crew will kindly invent a product.

FAQ

Can I reuse one agent brief all week?

Reuse the bible. Rewrite the slice. The week’s product is a season. Today is an episode.
