A repo is a set
Software direction
A repository is a set: routes are rooms, tokens are light, types are continuity, the preview is dailies. Directing software with an agent is the same office as directing a still. The slop just has a login.
The mapping
If you cannot recite that mapping, the agent will recite a template instead. Templates are how every “AI app” looks related.
Script → rite (person, action, feeling).
Look book → references with a function.
Light → tokens, copy, empty states.
Shot list → one slice per order.
Dailies → preview.
Edit → merge and revert.
Habit
Paste the bible. Name the slice. Ban the dashboard until the rite is lived. Review with your hands. The craft is boring on purpose. Boring is how sets stay standing.

It includes product judgment. It is specifically the direction of a generative crew inside a repo. A product designer who cannot kill an agent’s extra settings page is not doing this job yet.
